Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Template notice. This policy is a starting template provided with the platform. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed and adapted by counsel — and aligned with each organization's signed consent and data-retention agreement — before it governs a live deployment.
Who we are
DiamondIQ is a multi-tenant baseball platform operated by FERMLLC Technologies, the technology branch of Félix E. Rivera-Mariani, PhD LLC. This policy describes how the platform handles information across the public marketing site (the diamondiqapp.com apex) and the application (app.diamondiqapp.com and its team subdomains).
Information we handle
Public visitors. Fans and families can browse schedules, scores, standings, and privacy-minimized rosters without an account. We collect only basic, non-identifying analytics needed to operate the site.
Authenticated users. Coaches and admins have accounts and work with team rosters and performance data. Access is scoped to their role and their team.
Athlete data. Roster and performance information is entered by authorized team staff, not by the public. Each tenant's data is isolated from every other tenant.
Youth athlete data — heightened protection
Where a program serves minors, additional rules apply and are treated as a hard requirement, not a preference:
- Documented consent. A signed consent and retention agreement is in place before any real roster is loaded.
- Defined retention. Data is kept only for the period defined in that agreement.
- De-identification. Youth data is de-identified before any AI-assisted analysis; identifying youth data is never placed into external AI prompts, support tickets, or screenshots.
- Role-scoped access. Only authorized roles see identifying information, and the public view is privacy-minimized by design.
How data is protected
Tenant isolation and access rules are enforced in the database with Row Level Security — the security boundary lives in the data layer, not in the user interface. Authentication, storage, and hosting run on established providers selected and operated by FERMLLC Technologies.
How data is used
Data is used to operate each team's public presence and to give coaches and admins development and performance insight. AI features assist and recommend; humans make the decisions. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices & requests
Requests to access, correct, or delete data — including requests from a parent or guardian regarding a minor — should be directed to the athlete's organization or to us at diamondiq@fermllctech.com. We honor the retention and deletion terms set in each program's agreement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, communicated to the organizations we serve.
